PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel path recognition device which is capable of saving power by reducing a load of image processing.SOLUTION: A travel path recognition device recognizes a travel path by performing image processing on a photographed image acquired by photographing a periphery of a vehicle, and while doing so, it determines whether a road on which the vehicle is traveling is a straight road on the basis of road information and if it determines that the road is a straight road, it performs image processing on the photographed image using a smaller image area as a processing object as compared with when it determines that the road is not a straight road. |
