PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lens unit with improved water resistance without reducing an incident angle to a first lens; and an optical device having the same.SOLUTION: A lens unit 1 includes a first lens 11 which is located on the most object side L1 and has a non-lens portion 115 protruding toward the image side L2 from an outer circumference of a first lens surface 111 thereof, the non-lens portion 115 having, on the image side L2 thereof, a fixing portion 4 for fixing the first lens 11 to a first lens holding part 73. As such, the first lens 11 has nothing that reduces the incident angle thereto on the object side L1, and water cannot penetrate between the first lens 11 and a lens barrel 7 even when a high pressure water flow is provided from the objet side. Also, a sealing member 5 seals between the first lens 11 and the lens barrel 7 at a position radially inside from the non-lens portion 115, which prevents water from penetrating between the first lens 11 and the lens barrel 7 even if the water sneaks in on the image side L2. |
