PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire gripper which is reducible in weight of a tire griping arm, and can make a vehicle travel with a tip of the tire gripping arm floated at transfer.SOLUTION: In a tire gripper 10 which is arranged at a bogie 11 moving on a placing face 4, and grips a tire from a fore-and-aft direction by a pair of tire gripping arms 20, 21 which rotate the tire from the bogie 11 to a sideway, the tire gripping arms 20, 21 comprise base end parts 22, 23 which are supported to support shafts 24 arranged at the bogie 11, and rotatably support the tire gripping arms 20, 21 in a horizontal direction; and hinge mechanisms 29 which support the tire gripping arms 20, 21 in a vertical direction so as to be oscillatory in the vicinity of the base end parts 22, 23. The bogie comprises a guide 80 which rotates the tire gripping arms 20, 21 in a horizontal direction, and makes the tire gripping arms 20, 21 float at the accommodation of the arms along the bogie 11. |
