METHOD OF HETERO-SPHEROID FOR TREATMENT DIABETES MELLITUS DISEASE USING STEM CELL AND ISLET CELL, AND USE OF THE SAME

A method for preparing a hetero-spheroid of the present invention: enhances survival rate of pancreatic islet single cells, and smoothly supplies nutrition by controlling the cell size; promotes angiogenesis by abundantly expressing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and CD31 before and after transplantation; and confirms inhibition of cell necrosis by increasing expression of a Bcl-2 gene, which is an anti-cell necrosis gene, and reducing the amount of protein related to cell necrosis. Therefore, the method for preparing a hetero-spheroid can be usefully used as a method for transplanting islet cells for treating diabetes mellitus.
