PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of preventing reduction of a sensitivity or a saturation amount by implementing range finding of a TOF method in simple pixel configuration.SOLUTION: During first readout terms (t0-t17), a floodlight part projects pulse light and a transfer switch transfers electric charge based on a reflection light of the pulse light from a photoelectric conversion part to a floating diffusion during a period including a first projection period within a pulse light projection period of the floodlight part. An amplifier outputs a voltage corresponding to a charge amount of the floating diffusion to an output line. During subsequent second readout terms (t17-t37), the floodlight part projects a pulse light and the transfer switch transfers electric charge based on a reflection light of the pulse light from the photoelectric conversion part to the floating diffusion during a period including a second projection period different from the first projection period within the pulse light projection period of the floodlight part. The amplifier outputs a voltage corresponding to a charge amount of the floating diffusion to the output line. |
