摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device in which bright display and good contrast can be obtained by improving use efficiency of light, a method for manufacturing an electro-optic device, and electronic equipment.SOLUTION: The electro-optic device includes an element substrate 20, a counter substrate 30 disposed to oppose to the element substrate 20, a liquid crystal layer 40 disposed between the element substrate 20 and the counter substrate 30, a light-shielding part 60 having pixel openings 60a respectively corresponding to a plurality of pixels P, and a plurality of microlenses ML1 disposed on the counter substrate 30 respectively corresponding to the plurality of pixels P. The light-shielding part 60 includes a protrusion 62 protruding toward the pixel opening 60a in a plan view. Each microlens ML1 has a flat part 12a in the center; and the flat part 12a is disposed within the pixel opening 60a in a plan view and has a contour along at least the protrusion 62.
