PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for measuring concentrations of isorhapontigenin and rhapontigenin.SOLUTION: A new method measures a concentration of: isorhapontigenin or rhapontigenin in urine taken from an animal which ingests piceatannol; the isorhapontigenin in blood, blood plasma or blood serum taken from the animal which ingests the piceatannol; or the rhapontigenin in hydrolyzed blood, blood plasma or blood serum taken from the animal which ingests the piceatannol. |
