<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance as a rotating machine drive system while reducing a burden of an evaporator.SOLUTION: A rotating machine drive system comprises: an evaporator 11 to vaporize liquid working medium; a first expander 13 which is connected to a rotation shaft 23 and rotates the same by expansion of the vaporized working medium by the evaporator 11; a generator 20 which has a rotor section 20a fixed to the rotation shaft 23; a condenser 14 which condenses the working medium used by the first expander 13; and a second expander 40 which is connected to the rotation shaft 23 and rotates the same by the expansion of heating medium which is steam. The evaporator 11 vaporizes the working medium by heating the same with the heating medium expanded by the second expander 40.</p> |
