The present invention relates to a weight training apparatus including: a frame having a cross-sectional area in a rectangular shape; a pair of guide rods which are fixated and installed in the frame in a lengthwise direction; a plurality of sensors installed at intervals along the guide rods; a plurality of weight blocks which are moving bodies, reciprocating vertically along the guide rods, and are installed to correspond to locations of the sensors; a fixation bar which is formed on the same axis of grooves (HM) formed on each lower side of each weight block, includes holes (HL) into which a pin having a magnetic ingredient turning on the sensors is inserted, and is fixated by the pin to reciprocate vertically with the weight block; a cable which is joined to the fixation bar and is also joined to a handle that a user can lift; and an exercise management unit which receives a sensing signal of the sensor which is output to correspond to a moving path of the weight block, checks an exercise amount by identifying the weight, a moving distance, and a moving speed of the weight block calculated from the sensing signal with respect to the installed sensor, counts a valid exercise time only if an actual exercise range for the moving distance of the weight block by the user of the weight training apparatus is the minimum value or less and the maximum value or more of a predetermined proper exercise range, and displays information of the counted valid exercise time on a display unit. According to the present invention, the weight training apparatus, which provides the maximum exercise effect to the user, can be provided. |
