PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely make a part of a heat storage medium as hydrate slurry from an overcooling state in a heat storage system which uses the heat storage medium in which a clathrate hydrate is created by cooling.SOLUTION: A refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit and a heat storage medium in a heat storage circuit are heat-exchanged by a heat storage heat exchanger, the heat storage medium is cooled, and the heat storage medium is brought into an overcooled state at a temperature lower than a hydrate creation temperature. After that, a temperature of the heat storage medium is further lowered by performing a freezing operation for further cooling the heat storage medium by the refrigerant by the heat storage heat exchanger. By this constitution, hydrate slurry which becomes a core for eliminating the overcooled state is created at a part of the heat storage medium in the heat storage heat exchanger. |
