PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a window to be quite simply set on the basis of a capturing image, and allow a shape to be identified without setting the window again for a workpiece of the same standard as with once measured workpiece.SOLUTION: A workpiece shape identification device comprises: window pattern registration means (M1) that sets a linear component recognition window (LWn) along a linear contour line of a workpiece (S), sets an arc component recognition window (RWn) along an arc-shaped contour line, and preliminarily registers a window pattern composed of one or more windows detecting an edge of the workpiece (S) as a window pattern (WP); and workpiece shape identification means (M2) that reads the registered window pattern (WP), calculates a linear approximation expression of an edge of the linear component recognition window (LWn), calculates a circle approximation expression of an edge in the arc component recognition window (RWn), center coordinate and radius thereof, and calculates an intersection coordinate of the linear line and the arc. |
