PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device equipped with a self-holding type solenoid which can hold a plunger in a predetermined state even if receiving an external force.SOLUTION: A self-holding type solenoid SOL attracts a plunger when the same is electrically conducted, and adsorbs and holds the plunger by a permanent magnet after shutdown of electrical conduction. A stopper member moves between a regulation position where a tip of a sheet, which is transported by action of the plunger, abuts against the stopper member, and a retraction position retracted from the regulation position. The self-holding type solenoid SOL increases an attraction force for the plunger by supply of one pulse of conduction current at a time when a transported sheet abuts against the stopper member 21 positioned at the regulation position, and prevents the stopper member 21 from retracting by receiving an impact occurred when the sheet abuts against it. |
