PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic EL display device that can repair defective pixels with high efficiency.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an organic EL display device comprises: a specifying step S30 for specifying a defective pixel having an organic EL element 201 containing a short-circuit defect from plural light emission pixels 100; a measuring step S41 for measuring a concentration summation and a contour intensity value for each of plural foreign matters existing in the defective pixel specified in the specifying step S30 from imaging data of the defective pixel; and an identification step S40 for comparing an approximation curve approximating a characteristic representing the relationship between the size and the contour intensity value for a non-killer foreign matter forming no short-circuit route of an organic EL element with the density summation and the contour intensity value for each of the plural foreign matters measured in the measuring step S41 to identify a foreign matter as a target to be repaired. |
