PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improvement material that can quickly improve the handleability of mud immediately after its addition to the mud.SOLUTION: A soil improvement material comprises at least amorphous aluminum hydroxide and hydrated lime. A content of the amorphous aluminum hydroxide is 30-70 mass%, and a content of the hydrated lime is 30-70 mass%.
