VALSARTAN-CONTAINING TABLET AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valsartan-containing tablet having good dissolution property with a wet granulation.SOLUTION: A tablet consists of a granulated material containing a therapeutically effective amount of valsartan and low substituted-hydroxypropylcellulose. The low substituted-hydroxypropylcellulose has an aspect ratio of 3.0 or less, an angle of repose less than 45 degrees, a mean particle diameter of 50 μm or more, a bulk density of 0.40 g/cmor more, and a tap density of 0.65 g/cmor more. And 20% by weight or more to 60% by weight or less of the low substituted-hydroxypropylcellulose is contained to the total amount of the tablet in the granulated material.
