<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner capable of achieving both low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing toner which comprises: a step of obtaining a dispersion liquid of a polyester resin, which comprises the step of: dissolving a polyester resin with a mixed solvent containing an organic solvent (A) other than alcohol which can dissolve a polyester resin having an acidic group and water (C) in an amount of 0<C≤30 mass% based on the total amount of the mixed solvent; performing neutralization by adding a neutralizing agent to a polyester resin-dissolved solution obtained in the dissolving step, performing phase-inversion emulsification by dropwise adding an aqueous medium to a polyester resin-dissolved solution after neutralization obtained in the neutralization step; and removing an organic solvent in the emulsion obtained in the phase-inversion emulsification step; and an aggregation step using the dispersion liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
