<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a program reuse system which automatically extracts source code of a program which can be used when a program of a product developed in the past is applied to development of a new product. <P>SOLUTION: A program reuse system comprises: source code storage means which stores source code of a program of an apparatus; project information storage means which stores a plurality of pieces of project information including device information of a device built into the apparatus; retrieval means which retrieves the device information matching information for specifying the device to be retrieved from among the project information stored in the project information storage means; and extraction means which extracts the source code stored in the source code storage means on the basis of source code information included in the device information of a retrieval result by the retrieval means.
