<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat pad structured so that a wire inserted into a cushion pad has the function of tucking in a cover surface material and a function of retaining the shape of the cushion pad. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle seat pad, the wire 23 is inserted into the cushion pad 22. A recessed tucking groove 22A into which part of the cover surface material 24 for covering the surface of the cushion pad 22 is tucked, is formed in the surface portion of the cushion pad 22. The wire 23 has a continuous shape formed by folding one linear member at some parts, and integrally includes: a tuck-in portion 23A extending along the groove shape of the tuck-in groove 22A, and engaging with a partion of a cover surface material 24 tucked into the tuck-in groove 22A; and a shape retention portion 23B extending along the shape of a corner part 22C1 on the peripheral side of the cushion pad 22, and retaining the corner part 22C1 receiving a collapsing force due to stretch of the cover surface material 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
