[Class 5 (ii).] To supply a drinking trough or drinking troughs from a continuous pipe 2 each drinking trough 1 is provided with a recess having an upper concave surface 3 conforming to the shape of the pipe. A hole 4 is disposed in the surface 3 adapted to communicate with holes 5 drilled in the upper side of the pipe which is pressed against the surface 3 by a screw 10 or a wedge. A packing 6 may be inserted between-the pipe and the trough. An intermediate member 12 may be provided to take the pressure of the screw. The trough may be secured in addition to the wall of the yard by screws. The troughs may communicate through the pipe with a float-controlled container. |
