An electric leakage monitoring apparatus of a photovoltaic module string or array for solar power generation is disclosed. The apparatus comprises: multiple photovoltaic (PV) module strings; a PV voltage sensor module which measures PV voltage of the PV module strings; a leakage current sensor module which measures leakage current of an output cable connected from the PV module strings to an actual load; and a display which formalizes the leakage current measured in the leakage current sensor module through the operation of a microprocessor, and transmits and displays the formalized current to a display device by RS-485 MODBUS communications protocol, wherein the leakage current sensor module is configured with a fluxgate zero current transformer which detects the saturation state of a magnetic circuit and measures the leakage current. According to the electric leakage monitoring apparatus of a photovoltaic module string or array for solar power generation, by measuring the leakage current of a PV module or array, or an insulated cable, and notify a user of the measured current, an electrical fire and damage to a worker in a photovoltaic system can be prevented in advance. |
