PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for estimating a rotation angle for sensorless vector control of a synchronous motor.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a rotation angle estimation device of a synchronous motor for sensorless vector control of the synchronous motor. The rotation angle estimation device includes: a fixed flux instruction estimation unit calculating rotating fluxes λ, λand fixed flux instructions λ, λon the basis of a rotation angle &thetas; and currents I, Iof a fixed coordinate system; a fixed flux estimation unit calculating fixed fluxes λ, λon the basis of voltages V, Vof the fixed coordinate system, currents I, Iof the fixed coordinate system, and fixed flux errors ▵λ, ▵λ; a fixed flux error estimation unit using the difference between the fixed flux instructions λ, λand fixed fluxes λ, λto calculate fixed flux errors ▵λ, ▵λand feeding the errors back to the fixed flux estimation unit; and a trigonometric function calculation unit calculating a rotation angle &thetas; that is a movement distance of a rotor, on the basis of the rotating fluxes λ, λand the fixed fluxes λ, λ. |
