PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a driver easily notice an alarm, and to avoid the impairment of the perceptibility of a mirror.SOLUTION: A vehicle side mirror alarm device 1 comprises: a mirror 20 which is directed rearward; a blue-colored alarm lamp 30 which is arranged at the surroundings of the mirror 20, and arranged in a band shape along an edge of the mirror 20 when viewed from a rear part; and a box-shaped mirror housing 10 whose rear side is opened. The alarm lamp 30 is attached to the mirror housing 10 along an edge of an opening 11 of the mirror housing 10. The mirror 20 is surrounded by the alarm lamp 30. As a distance from an own vehicle up to a rear vehicle becomes short, an area of a light emitting region of the alarm lamp 30 becomes wide.
