PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiographic waveform detection apparatus which can achieve both high detection reliability and short delay time.SOLUTION: An electrocardiographic waveform detection apparatus includes: a first detection unit for detecting a specific waveform included in obtained ECG signals; an update unit for updating detection parameters for detecting the specific waveform on the basis of part of waveform of the specific waveform detected by the first detection unit; a second detection unit for detecting the specific waveform from the ECG signals using the updated detection parameters; and a generation unit for generating synchronization signals on the basis of information on detection of the specific waveform detected by the second detection unit.
