PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish detector capable of precisely detecting a single fish.SOLUTION: A fish detector 10 comprises: an arithmetic processing part 11; a display 20; transmission/reception switchers 121, 122, 123, 124; and an echo sounder transducer 100. The arithmetic processing part 11 comprises: a transmission control part 12; a reception part 13; a single fish detection part 14; and a display control part 15. The echo sounder transducer 100 has plural channels, and outputs echo signals received at the respective channels to the single fish detection part 14 via the reception part 13, as channel echo signals. The single fish detection part 14 executes first determination based on a waveform of the respective channel echo signal, second determination based on stability of phase difference, and third determination based on stability of amplitude. The single fish detection part 14 determines a peak satisfying the first determination, second determination, and third determination as an echo of a single fish, and distinguishes the echo of the single fish from an echo of other than a single fish. |
