PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of suppressing infiltration of rainwater and the like without providing components such as a waterproof device and the like separately.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 100 of an air conditioner has: a blower and a heat exchanger 10 accommodated as a blower chamber in one section out of two sections partitioned in a housing 1; a compressor and an expansion valve accommodated as a machine chamber in the other section; and an electric product module unit 11 provided by striding over a partition plate 1a and for controlling the blower, the compressor and the expansion valve. An air intake part 12 is provided in which: a surface formed by being dented to the machine chamber side at the back part of a right side surface panel 5 on the compressor chamber side of the housing 1 is configured to be a first air introduction port 12a by being covered by a vertically long folding panel 3a formed by folding one end part of a back surface panel 3 of the housing 1; and furthermore, by opening a surface facing the back surface panel 3 formed by denting the back part of the right side surface panel 5, a second air introduction port 12b is configured with the folding panel 3a. |
