Versatile doll support method

Display article support systems and methods of using, interchangeable support clips, support elements and display boards for support of display articles such as dolls for display, transport and/or play are disclosed. A kit includes a variety of the interchangeable support clips and support elements included in a package.

1. A method for displaying a doll, comprising:
placing a C-shaped support around a waist or abdomen of the doll, wherein the C-shaped support comprises opposing arcuate arms extending from a medial portion and a first mating portion of an engagement mechanism; selecting a mounting device comprising one of a support clip or a magnetized base, wherein the mounting device comprises a second mating portion of the engagement mechanism configured for reversible coupling to the C-shaped support and at least one gripping surface; reversibly coupling the mounting device to the C-shaped support, by the engagement mechanism; and removably attaching the display article to one of a piece of furniture, ferrous metal surface, or personal clothing article, by the gripping surface of the mounting device, thereby holding the doll in an upright display position.
