摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly raise the pressure force of a double-piston hydraulic loader of a toroidal continuously variable transmission.SOLUTION: A hydraulic control circuit 57 is switched over between a first control state of supplying a hydraulic pressure only to a second hydraulic chamber 55 and a second control state of supplying the hydraulic pressure to both a first hydraulic chamber 54 and the second hydraulic chamber 55. It is, therefore, possible to minimize the deformation of an input disc 23 while suppressing the slipping of a power roller 26, improve change gear ratio control accuracy, and improve power transmission efficiency. Furthermore, the hydraulic control circuit 57 supplies lubricating oil lower than a controlled hydraulic pressure to the first hydraulic chamber 54 in the first control state. It is, therefore, possible to prevent the mixture of air into the first hydraulic chamber 54 in the first control state, and promptly raise the controlled hydraulic pressure to ensure the prevention of the slipping of the power roller 26 if the first control state changes to the second control state and the controlled hydraulic pressure is supplied to the first hydraulic chamber 54.
