<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can secure print quality by inhibiting overheat of a drying drum. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes: a drying drum for conveying printing paper by rotating around its axial center while holding the printing paper on its surface; a drier for drying ink on the printing paper by heat; and a cooler for cooling the surface of the drying drum.
