PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding packaging method of a sector pillar in which the usage of packaging materials is reduced, wrinkles are not generated in the side surface of a package and a beautiful appearance can be kept by a corner being cleanly folded.SOLUTION: A sector pillar A covered with a sheet-like packaging material Fs is pressed in a molding intra-hole of a former. Thereby, pleat-folding is made along the other side surface of the sector pillar A in a mode of valley-folding a tip region R2 of a sheet-like packaging material Fs. The tip region R2 subjected to pleat folding is folded by being pressed and sandwiched between the other side surface of the sector pillar A and the side surface region R3 covering the other side surface. A periphery region R3 extending around the top surface region of the sheet-like packaging material Fs is folded along the side surface of the sector pillar A and end face, and then the processing of folding a bottom face region R5 is performed. Accordingly, the processing of the tip region R2 is simple and folding mistake is reduced, and wrinkles are not generated on the finished side surface. Also, a corner is cleanly folded, and thereby the sector pillar A can be folded and packaged while maintaining the beautiful appearance. |
