PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for grinding a cylindrical surface of a disc grinder capable of repairing a cylindrical surface of a structure component of a machine device which is conventionally hard to be repaired at a job site, to be smooth, without removing the structure component from the machine device.SOLUTION: A supporting device 3 for grinding a cylindrical surface is equipped with a device body 10 which has a grinder supporting portion 25 for fixing/supporting a disc grinder 2; and a positioning engagement portion 11 provided on a bottom portion of the device body 10, and capable of abutting and engaging on an outer peripheral cylindrical surface C to be ground. The grinder supporting portion 25 is provided on the device body 10 through a tilt support shaft 19 so as to tilt in a vertical direction, and while the device body 10 is positioned and placed on the cylindrical surface C through the positioning engagement portion 11, the disc grinder 2 can tilt in the vertical direction to the cylindrical surface C between a grinding stand-by position U and a grinding position D. |
