PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce a space necessary for withdrawing each of image forming units from a lateral face of a housing of the image forming apparatus to the outside along the arrangement direction of the image forming units.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes: a plurality of image forming units 31 to 34 that are arranged side by side along the conveyance direction 361 of a transfer target member 36 and can transfer toner images to the transfer target member 36; and a movement mechanism 7 that includes a plurality of partial support parts 72 that support the image forming units 31 to 34 respectively, a movable support part 73 that supports the partial support parts 72 to be movable to the outside along the arrangement direction of the image forming units 31 to 34, and a plurality of connection parts 74 that movably connect the partial support parts 72 while maintaining the attitude of the partial support parts 72 on a lower layer of the partial support part 72 located on the upstream side in the direction of movement to the outside. |
