PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like member having lightweight and high rigidity in which a groove shape cutout part is formed in a rigid foam resin, and a butt end material comprising rigid resin is brought into close contact with the side edge and the groove shape cutout part of a plate-like member body and is formed integrally.SOLUTION: One or both of outer surface materials 4 and 5 of a first outer surface material 4 and a second outer surface material 5 is/are formed smaller so that an end edge 41 may be positioned inside more than a side edge 61 of a core material 6, and the core material 6 is formed of a rigid foam resin. Also, a first groove shape cutout part 62 or the like is formed having a depth in the thickness direction of a plate-like member body 2 from the end edge 41 of the first outer surface material 4. A butt end material 3 is made to adhere by rigid resin and integrally formed to the all side edges 21 of the plate-like member body 2, the first groove shape cutout part 62, and an outer surface 63 of the core material 6 not provided with both outer surface materials 4 and 5. Accordingly, the butt end material 3 can be made to firmly adhere to the core material 6 having a small specific weight with the first groove shape cutout part 62 or the like. Consequently, the compatibility of the contradicting properties between the light-weight and the high rigidity can be achieved, and thereby a light-weight and rigid plate-like member 1 can be formed. |
