PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the residue of electric charges on a display panel when abnormal shutdown occurs.SOLUTION: A portable terminal comprises a display panel equipped with a source line and a gate line, an electric power storage device, a power supply circuit unit, a gate line drive unit, a source line drive unit, a regulator, a logic circuit, and an electric charge transport path. The power supply circuit unit generates a first logic power supply voltage and an analog power supply voltage, and supplies each to a first power supply line and a second power supply line. The regulator steps down the first logic power supply voltage and generates a second logic power supply voltage, and supplies the second logic power supply voltage to a third power supply line. The logic circuit further controls the source line drive unit and the gate line drive unit in response to a decline in the voltage of the first power supply line, so that the electric charge accumulated in the display panel is discharged. The electric charge transport path is configured so as to transport the electric charge from the second power supply line to the third power supply line in response to a decline in the voltage of the first power supply line. |
