PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a current generated in a semiconductor integrated circuit in reverse connection with a power supply.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a semiconductor integrated circuit has a signal processing part and a protection circuit. The signal processing part is supplied with power to output a signal processed signal. The protection circuit has a gate control circuit connected to the signal processing part and a first transistor to which a signal output from the gate control circuit is input to a gate and has one end connected to a substrate of the signal processing part and a substrate of the gate control circuit and the other end connected to a ground voltage.
