<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a page turning image in page turning operation in such a manner that a user can easily find a part to which the user paid attention in past browsing. <P>SOLUTION: A display image creation unit 45 creates a page image to be displayed on the basis of data in a book data storage unit 20, and displays the page image on a display unit 10. When receiving a page turning operation instruction input by a browsing person, a browsing operation input unit 30 updates the displayed image in response to the instruction. A resistance function generation unit 60 generates a resistance function defining a resistance value in turning pages on a screen for each page on the basis of the browsing history of the browsing person collected by a browsing history collection unit 50, and stores the resistance function in a resistance function storage unit 70. At this time, a large resistance value is set for a page whose past accumulated display time is long and a page with information such as a note added thereto.
