<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of output information transmitted from an output information transmission device compared with the case that font data is always included in the output information which is transmitted to a printer from the output information transmission device. <P>SOLUTION: A client device 12 includes acquisition destination information indicating an acquisition destination of the font data, generates PDL data for printing a print image including a character image indicated by the font data, and outputs the data to the printer 14. The printer 14 receives the PDL data transmitted from the client device 12, acquires the font data from the acquisition destination indicated by the acquisition destination information included in the received PDL data, and prints the print image by using the received PDL data and the acquired font data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
