PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a glass article, capable of easily manufacturing a glass article having a reduced residual strain.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a glass article includes the annealing step of annealing a moulded glass ingot GI. The annealing step includes a stage where the glass ingot GI is surrounded in a reduced pressure environment and is preferably performed in the state that a heat insulator 13 is arranged around the glass ingot GI. The volume of the glass ingot GI is preferably 30 cmor more. |
