<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a game machine, the control device being designed such that even when a stop pattern is specified after the start of a variable display, the variable display can be finished with the specified stop pattern.SOLUTION: After the end timing of a variable display reaches, a scroll of a virtual pattern reel is continued until a stop pattern is displayed in a corresponding display area. Since a pattern stop command is transmitted to a display control substrate after the passage of a scroll time for substantially one rotation of the virtual pattern reel, the stop pattern is securely displayed in the corresponding display area during the scroll. When the stop pattern is displayed, the stop pattern is moved and displayed within the display area until the pattern stop command is received. When the pattern stop command is received, the stop pattern is stopped at and displayed in the center of the display area, and the variable display is finished. Thus, the pattern stop command can be received by continuing the variable display while the stop pattern is displayed in the corresponding display area. Accordingly, the variable display can smoothly be finished without imparting discomfort to a player.</p> |
