<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle that has a light and simple vessel body, increases heat-retaining properties in a safe form as much as possible, and also reduces the amount of remaining hot water in pouring. <P>SOLUTION: The electric kettle includes: a liquid vessel in vacuum double wall structure comprising an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder; a heater that is at the bottom of the liquid vessel and heats the liquid vessel; and a bottom member for covering the heater.
