PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode material for lithium ion battery having excellent high speed charge-discharge characteristics and capable of enhancing the battery capacity by enhancing the electron conductivity of an electrode active material, and to provide a positive electrode for lithium ion battery, and a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: A positive electrode material 1 for lithium ion battery is an aggregate of a mixture of the primary particles 2 of an electrode active material, and the secondary particles 3 produced by aggregation of the primary particles 2 of an electrode active material. The primary particles 2 and the secondary particles 3 are coated with a carbonaceous coat.
