PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in trapping processing, a width of color overlapping may be made nonuniform within an image only by preventing a color from being overlapped with a small object such as a thin line or a detailed portion of a character.SOLUTION: An image processing device is configured to perform trapping processing on an input image formed from a plurality of color plates. The image processing device included trapping means. Regarding a first object formed from a thin line among objected included in the input image, the trapping means performs processing for overlapping the plurality of color plates in a direction outside of the first object just for a designated trapping width. Regarding a second object other than the first object, the trapping means performs processing for overlapping the plurality of color plates in direction outside of and inside of the second object just for a half of the designated trapping width. |
