PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system that can reduce the probability of collision of transmission data when a communication path is constructed, and enables selection of a transmission destination node from plural candidate nodes.SOLUTION: When a transmission destination node is not determined, each of slave units 10 and relay units 30 transmits data by broadcast. All relay units 30 which receive data transmitted from a lower node by broadcast transmit ACKs to a transmission source node. When transmitting data broadcast, the slave units 10 and the relay units 30 receive ACK to the transmitted data till a predetermined reception time elapses after the data transmission or during a period when the number of received ACKs reaches a predetermined receivable number. The slave units 10 and the relay units 30 set the nodes transmitting ACKs as transmission destination candidate nodes, and when a transmission destination node for next transmission is determined from the candidate nodes, the slave units 10 and the relay units 30 transmit data by unicast for subsequent transmissions. |
