PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording head capable of high density recording by improving the compatibility with resonance characteristic of a record medium, and a disk unit including the same.SOLUTION: The magnetic recording head includes: a main pole 60 for applying a recording magnetic field to a recording layer of a record medium; a write shield facing the main pole being interposed by a write gap; a recording coil 70 that generates a magnetic field on the main pole; a high-frequency oscillator 74 having an oscillation layer and a spin torque injection layer, which is disposed in the write gap between the main pole and the write shield; wiring for supplying the power to the high-frequency oscillator; a modulation electrode 76 for applying a modulation voltage to the oscillation layer; and a modulation isolation layer disposed between the oscillation layer and the modulation electrode. |
