PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller that prevents a danger from being caused by operator's carelessness in debugging of a sequence program or editing or updating of the sequence program in maintenance work for a machine, and thereby enables the operator to concentrate on the debugging and updating of the sequence program.SOLUTION: A controller 10 which repeatedly executes sequence programs includes: means of acquiring a sequence program switching request to switch a sequence program to be executed from outside; means of setting a sequence program switching notice signal in a signal memory which gives notice of sequence program switching to a sequence program being executed to ON; and means of setting the sequence program switching notice signal to OFF and switching execution of the sequence program after repeatedly executing the sequence program being executed as many times as predetermined. |
