PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane mark recognition device capable of appropriately cutting calculation cost in view of a road situation in a case of recognizing lane marks.SOLUTION: A specific-candidate exclusion unit (candidate-image-part extraction unit 13) excludes at least one of a first image part that is an image part for which a corresponding position on an actual space is apart from a camera 2 by a predetermined distance or more and for which a rate of regions each having a brightness equal to or higher than a predetermined brightness or having a variation of the brightness in a boundary equal to or greater than a predetermined variation is equal to or higher than a predetermined rate, and a second image part for which a corresponding position on the actual space is apart from the camera 2 by the predetermined distance or more and for which a rate of regions of a specific color is equal to or higher than a predetermined rate. A lane mark recognition unit 14 recognizes lane marks on the basis of a region of an image for which a corresponding position on the actual space is closer to the camera 2 than the corresponding position on the actual space to the image part excluded by the specific-candidate exclusion unit. |
