PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with the high resolution of an image display panel.SOLUTION: A display device 10 includes an image display panel 40, a first signal output part 31 for outputting a first image output signal, a second signal output part 32 for outputting a second image output signal, and a signal processing part 21 for converting an input value of an input signal into a reproduction value of a reproduction color space to generate a signal, outputting a portion of the generated signal as a first image processing signal to the first signal output part 31, and outputting another portion of the generated signal as a second image processing signal to the second signal output part 32. The signal processing part 21 determines an extension coefficient, calculates signals for first to fourth sub-pixels, and outputs the calculated signals for the first to fourth pixels as a first image processing signal or a second image processing signal, the first signal output part 31 outputs the first image output signal on the basis of the first image processing signal, and the second signal output part 32 outputs the second image output signal on the basis of the second image processing signal. |
