PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera focal plane shutter that allows a drive control mechanism to be downsized, enhances a degree of arranging freedom by curbing the number of components, enhances exposure accuracy by surely curbing bounds of blades when an exposure travelling ends, allows a bound convergence time to be shortened, and allows high durability and high frame-per- second to be attained.SOLUTION: A camera focal plane shutter comprises: a first drive member 6 that drives a first blade; a second drive member 7 that drives a second blade 3; a setting member 12 that sets a setting to an exposure operation start position of the blades and releases the setting by a rotation to one direction alone; a first brake lever 15 that is composed of an elastic member in which a braking unit 15a and a suppression unit 15b to be elastically deformed respectively are formed; and a second brake lever 16 that is composed of an elastic member in which a braking unit 16a and a suppression unit 16b to be elastically deformed respectively are formed. In accordance with the rotation of the setting member, the first and second brake levers are advanced/retreated relative to an operational trajectory of each drive member. |
