PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of restricting a display panel from being moved due to vibrations or a shock and to prevent the display panel from getting damaged or displaced from a desired dispose position.SOLUTION: The display apparatus includes an elastic member 5 which is linearly disposed along one side of a display panel 1 in a peripheral area BR of the display panel 1 on the anti-display plane 12 at the side opposite to the display plane 11, and at the position corresponding to the dispose position of the elastic member 5, a groove 32 which has a shape corresponding to the elastic member 5 is formed. After positioning the elastic member 5 disposed on the anti-display plane 12 of the display panel 1 relative to the groove 32 which is formed in the a holding frame 3 constituting a plane light source unit 2, the elastic member 5 is moved in a direction of the holding frame 3 to engage with the groove 32. With this, the display panel 1 is fixed to the holding frame 3. |
