PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of quality defects due to bubbles in a resin at the time of restart and an increase in resin discarded by overflow operation without operations, such as resin removal from and cleaning of piping and a tank, in the case where the manufacturing of an optical fiber is stopped for a predetermined period of time or longer.SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for supplying a resin for optical fiber, which supplies the resin to a resin-coated die 2 for optical fiber, comprises a first tank 4 that supplies the resin to the resin-coated die 2 via a resin supply pipe 3, and a second tank 6 that replenishes the resin to the first tank 4 via a resin replenishment pipe 5, and is provided with a circulating resin pipe 7 that returns the resin to the second tank 6 from a connection point to the resin-coated die 2 in the resin supply pipe 5. |
