<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable such aviation that a helicopter can avoid collision with an obstacle even in a state where the helicopter approaches the obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: In a helicopter 10, the location of the helicopter itself is detected on the basis of a received GPS signal by a GPS receiver 34, and a distance between the helicopter itself and the obstacle around the helicopter is measured by a distance sensor 18. The helicopter 10 then reads helicopter periphery information containing the location of the helicopter itself detected by the distance sensor 18 from map information stored in a map information storage device 52 by a detailed information generator 40 to generate helicopter periphery detailed information indicating the shape around the helicopter itself from the read helicopter periphery information and a result measured by the distance sensor 18. On the basis of the helicopter periphery detailed information and a size of the helicopter itself, an aviation controller 32 performs control to suppress collision of the helicopter itself with the obstacle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
